1. Who we are

Murky Horizon: Tower Defense (“the Game”) is developed and published by SerenityMindTech LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the Game does and does not do with information, and how you can reach us.

2. Information we collect

None. The Game does not ask for, collect, or transmit any personal information. Specifically, it does not collect your name, email address, contact details, location, photos, contacts, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or usage or analytics data.

The Game requests no device permissions. It does not use the camera, microphone, location services, notifications, Bluetooth, HealthKit, or any other protected resource.

3. Information stored on your device

To remember your progress between sessions, the Game saves a small amount of data only on your device, using the standard local storage provided by the operating system:

• Best runs – your high scores, the round reached, and the difficulty played.
• Sound settings – your chosen effects and music volume.

This data is never sent to us or to anyone else. It is not linked to your identity. Deleting the Game from your device permanently removes it. In the browser version, clearing the site’s data in your browser has the same effect.

4. Network activity

The iOS app runs entirely offline. After installation it makes no network requests of any kind: no servers of ours, no analytics services, no advertising networks, and no content downloads.

The browser version of the Game is delivered by a web hosting provider. Like any web host, it may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as the IP address and time of a page request) to operate and secure the service. We do not access or use those logs to identify you. The hosting provider’s handling of such data is described in its own privacy policy.

5. Third parties

The Game contains no third-party software development kits (SDKs) for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, social features, or attribution. We do not share data with any third party, because we hold none.

The Game is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple may collect information about app downloads and, if you have chosen to share it with developers in your device settings, aggregated crash and usage statistics. That collection is performed by Apple under Apple’s own privacy policy, not by us, and any such reports we receive contain no personal identifiers.

6. Children

The Game is rated 13+ on the App Store for frequent cartoon and fantasy violence. It is not directed at children under 13. Because the Game collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children, in accordance with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws.

7. Your rights and choices

Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on request, and no consent to withdraw. You remain in full control of the only data that exists, which lives on your own device (see section 3). If you believe we have any information about you, contact us and we will investigate and respond.

8. Data retention

We retain nothing. Locally stored settings and scores remain on your device until you delete the Game or clear its data.

9. Security

Because the Game transmits no data, there is no data in transit to protect. Locally stored data is protected by your device’s own security features.

10. Changes to this policy

If the Game’s behaviour ever changes in a way that affects your privacy – for example, if a future version added online leaderboards – we will update this policy before releasing that version, revise the effective date above, and describe the change plainly here.
